DESCRIPTION:FREE SHOW – Scott Cooper & the Rosebud Band is a side project of China Cats guitarist Scott Cooper\, whose penchant for playing Grateful Dead music is matched by his talent for songwriting. The New Times said\, “The singer-songwriter delivers thoughtful\, literate tunes that stick with you\,” while New Orleans’ Offbeat magazine called them “a well-oiled roots/jam band” and added “he can write material worthy of the bands he loves.” The band plays a mix of originals and covers from the Dead\, Dylan\, Beatles\, etc. Cooper’s first CD reached #5 on the national jam band radio charts and his subsequent three other CD are KPIG standards including the hit song “Ghosts of La Honda.” Lead guitarist Fred Rodriguez and bassist Andy Birchett are also familiar to SLO music lovers from their old band Three-Legged Dawg. Rounding out the band are former Dark Star Orchestra drummer Mark Corsolini and pianist Lachlan “Citizen” Kane.\nBring your dancing shoes and be ready to shake it.

Since its inception in 2023\, TIGERS EYE has quickly grew its fanbase (3700+ Instagram followers) by headlining local Austin shows and opening for established\, in-town acts. Their debut EP album “Josephine” was released on Jan 17\, 2025. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSince its release\, “Josephine” has gained over 120\,000 streams on Spotify\, bringing the band’s monthly listener count up to 7000+. TIGERS EYE booked and headlined 4 regional tours (27 shows across 7 states) in 2025 to promote the album. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe band’s next album\, a 5-song EP titled “Daydreams\,” is scheduled for release on March 20\, 2026. They have since emerged as an engine of the Bay Area’s revitalized psychedelic and festival scenes. Frontman Graham Patzner\, who will crow like a medicine show preacher\, and then coo you into the arms of his lovesick eternity\, might be a spitfire protege of the underworld himself\, though\, through and through he will remind you that there is no rapture without artistry. On the surface this is splendid rock-and-roll\, rooted in the classic\, psych and glam rock tradition\, but the pageantry and chaos of Whiskerman’s performances will leave you describing an experience more than a sound. \nWhiskerman is preparing to release their fourth studio album\, Kingdom Illusion–a rock and roll vision quest that ushers the band’s elegiac psychedellia towards a louder\, pushier\, more colorful sound. Their past albums have been described as “ecstatic psychedelia\, sturdily constructed pop-rock\, pick-and-grin folk all together as a single picture.” (Flood Magazine) \nThe band is: Graham Patzner (vocals\, guitar\, violin and piano)\, Will Lawrence (bass)\, and Charles Lloyd (guitar and sitar)\, Dan Schwartz (drums)\, and Jeremy Lyon (guitar). \n\nGene Evaro can sing\, play and lead in a way that brings to mind Stephen Stills or Prince. Watching Gene Evaro Jr and his band feels like you are experiencing some grand force of nature spiritually\, like making love in a hurricane or testifying to the heavens in a meteor shower. Gene and his band have performed at JTMF many times\, always rising up to deliver a show that is superior to the previous masterpiece. With national tours (Blues Traveler\, Elle King\, Milky Chance)\, and prominent festival plays under their belt\, Gene & band will one day (soon) be known to many.

By the early 2020s\, they’d become global ambassadors of homegrown Texas music\, flying their flag everywhere from Abbey Road Studios (where they recorded 2019’s Cheap Silver & Solid Country Gold with help from the London Symphony Orchestra) to the Grand Ole Opry. \nThe growth was remarkable\, but all that momentum left Harmeier and his four bandmates — drummer Taylor Englert\, guitarist Catlin Rutherford\, bassist Omar Oyoque\, and steel guitarist Zachary Moulton — looking for something new. After all\, their music had decidedly changed. Why shouldn’t their name do the same? \nSilverada marks a new chapter in the band’s history. DESCRIPTION:Trestles is a surf/pysch outfit from Santa Cruz\, California. Formed in 2021\, the band has spent the last several years developing a sound based in 1960’s west coast garage rock tradition. From their early days as a fresh faced college rock band to their more recent years as garage revivalists\, the band has consistently been the definitive face of the Santa Cruz independent music scene. \nA sort of modern take on a surf/60’s revival sound\, (a la The Brian Jonestown Massacre\, Allah-Las\, La Luz\, The Nude Party\, etc) Trestles’ current day sound is the byproduct of shared time studying and obsessing over the history of music recording arts at the local community college. The band’s attitude about “…what makes guitar bands worth anything in the age of infinitely accessible stimulation and dopamine addiction\,” seems to be Trestles’ only traceable ethos. Seeing the current landscape of independent music projects as “…a bunch of short-form theatre acts\,” the band’s only goal is to do what they think is actually worth doing\, and to do it well. \n\nSeven asterisk is an indie/alternative rock band formed in Fresno\, California. With themes ranging from puppy love to threats of violence\, the band fuses their unique personal influences into their own blend of Central Valley/Coast indie music.”\ \n \n

The lineup includes British singer/songwriter Si Short on guitar and lead vocals\, Faris “Dragon” Muhtaseb on lead guitar\, Bryan “Brooce” Lee on bass guitar\, and Drew Baker on drums\, vocals\, and percussion. \n​Blending punk rock and contemporary influences\, The Jack Knives have built a global fanbase through their raw\, heartfelt\, and sincere music.
