ALEX LUCERO IS: Originally based out of Oakdale (‘The Cowboy Capital of The World’) in the Central Valley of California, Live Again started off playing in local clubs and bars as a cover band. Wanting more out of their pursuit in music, they began writing their own material and released their first all original album, “Soulutions” in the Fall of 2015.Since then they have won multiple battle of the bands and have also been featured on radio stations such as KSCO, KZSC and KPIG. One of their biggest achievements was on August 29th 2015 when they won Valley’s Got Talent at The Gallo Center for The Arts with their original song “Every Other Time” for Best Band.Like many bands, the members of Live Again have shifted over the years but founder, Alex Lucero has kept true to his originality in his songwriting as well as the band’s creativity when arranging their Live Again version of their cover material.Heavily influenced by R&B and Soul of the 1960’s and 70’s, lead singer/frontman, Alex Lucero showcases his timber and rasp as well as high falsetto in his live and studio performances.
