DESCRIPTION:Lady Goodman is a 4 piece Outlaw Country/ Performance Art project out of Morro Bay\,California led by Jake Schoonmaker. Jake has been involved in music on the central coast of California for the past 12 years. Formerly of Depressed Specter\, William H. Klink\, Slurp Genius\, and others\, Lady Goodman is Schoonmaker’s upcoming production. \nLady Goodman is a project based around the character of ‘Lady Goodman’\, a hypocritical\, slightly pathetic\, aging country music wannabe. The mustache which graces his face may be the most impressive attribute he holds and his beer belly is almost as big as his ego. His band is despondent towards him\, and while his fans adore his music\, they would probably be let down if they talked to him after a show. The first Lady Goodman EP will be released April 1st 2022. It was mixed\, mastered\, and engineered by Graham Ginsburg. The 6 song EP is titled “I Might Be Named Lady But I Aint No Good Man”.
