DESCRIPTION:Based in Santa Cruz\, Hijinx formed in 2018 as a college garage band.  Hijinx was not a culmination of local musicians\, but rather a group of best friends. Inspired by the rich local Santa Cruz reggae scene\, the band set forth learning their instruments with dreams of sharing the stage with some of their local heroes someday. The band has successfully made a name for themselves in the Santa Cruz reggae scene as well as up and down the coast of California. Hijinx blends influences from reggae\, ska\, punk rock\, and metal for an overall high energy\, upbeat sound. The band consists of Mason Borreson on Guitar\, keys\, and vocals\, Andrew Furtado on bass\, Beau Kittleson on guitar and vocals\, and Dominic Churchill on drums.
