SUMMARY:Eric Sardinas with Marco Mendoza of Whitesnake\, Journey\, Dead Daises\, Thin Lizzy\, Ted Nugent....
DESCRIPTION:Doors open 6:30\, show 7:30. No early birds please. \nERIC: Slide & elecrtric guitarist/singer-songwriter\, bluesrock icon Eric Sardinas plays a double headline show with legendary rock bassist Marco Mendoza! \nEric has a reputation for packing intensity into his live performances. Since the late-90s’ Sardinas has taken the stage thousands of times across the globe\, with audiences growing exponentially each passing year. \nHis six albums have displayed a distinct style that musically pushes the boundaries of rock and blues\, and the world has taken notice. Now Sardinas has put his onstage lighting in a bottle for the new album Sticks & Stones\, an 11-song powerhouse of his trademark slide guitar that is a vehicle to drive his inspiration from the roadhouse in to mainstream music. \nSardinas’ unique mixture weaves his heavy blues and rock threads in to a flamethrower to the listener and takes them on a ride encompassing the past\, present and future of what music is meant to be. \n“Playing with intensity all over the world non-stop and loving every minute of it has been my inspiration\,” Sardinas explains. “That’s why I get up in the morning and what I live for. Making music keeps me in the moment\, allowing my heart to speak to people. \n\nMARCO: A seasoned rock bassist who is proficient in multiple genres including heavy metal\, jazz fusion\, and funk\, Marco Mendoza handles bass duties for Aussie/American hard rockers Dead Daisies and the re-formed lineup of Thin Lizzy — he is also an ex-member of Thin Lizzy offshoot Black Star Riders. A native of San Diego\, California\, Mendoza did time with a number of acts (Black Sabbath‘s Bill Ward\, Alias\, and Blue Murder) before teaming up with John Sykes\, Scott Gorham\, Darren Wharton\, and Brian Downey in 1994 for a rebooted version of stalwart classic rockers Thin Lizzy. He released his debut solo LP\, Live for Tomorrow\, in 2007 via Frontiers Records\, with two more solo offerings\, Casa Mendoza and Viva La Rock arriving in 2010 and 2018\, respectively. In addition to Dead Daisies\, Thin Lizzy\, and his solo work\, Mendoza has shared the stage and studio with a host of other high-profile artists\, including Ted Nugent\, Soul SirkUS\, and Whitesnake.
