Crystal Moon Wizard clearly didn’t get the memo about winding things down at the end of the year. Instead, the psychedelic trio closes out 2025 by opening a portal with “Wizard of the Moon,” their second single and video, produced by Adam Castilla, leaning fully into their cosmic weirdness. Channeling the exploratory spirit of Pink Floyd and the restless energy of King Gizzard, the band comes across as confident, playful, and fully committed to the trip.

At the core of Crystal Moon Wizard are vocalist and guitarist Bryce Montgomery, drummer Michael Starr, better known as Drumsy, and keyboardist and vocalist Keenan McGuckin. Together, they build a sound that feels adventurous without getting lost in its own haze. The track strikes a clear balance, feeling both trippy and grounded, keeping the music moving forward with purpose.
