Grizzled veteranos of L.A. punk rock\, free jazz\, blues\, roots and rock n’ roll scenes join forces with whippersnappers with mad skills for the simple goal of transporting their audiences to the ecstatic states previously known only to whirling dervishes and do so in clubs throughout the L.A. area and in yearly appearances at yearly headlining appearances at The Yosemite Music Festival. Members of The Atomic Sherpas have played/toured/recorded with the following groups: Mike Watt\, Stew\, Bazooka\, Fatso Jetson\, Brant Bjork\, Double Naught Spy Car\, The Black Widows\, I See Hawks In L.A.\,  Christopher Owens\, The BellRays\, The Streetwalkin’ Cheetahs\, Carlos Guitarlos\, Passing Strange (The Musical)\, Love & Mercy (The Film) and El Grupo Sexo.
