Andy Clockwise has been dividing his time between Australia and the USA over the past three years, refining and releasing the behemoth of songs that make up his “War Stories ” 4 Volume opus. This year, Clockwise is set to release the first two volumes of his album to the public and his loyal fans plus his extensive back catalogue.

“Practicing the art of reinvention Clockwise, sweet shades of 80s New Wave tones and Clockwise’s penchant for expressing, exploring and exorcising the human darkness” – High Voltage Magazine

He will embark on a campaign trail throughout the world with his unique blend of Heartland/electronic/Celtic-post punk, 80s, and New Wave music, Clockwise has not only found his voice, but he has also found his sound. The album is a deep dive into Andy’s signature songwriting and existential poetry new wave, classic Bowie-style pop, and the heart-wrenching poetry of Leonard Cohen & Nick Cave , Talking Heads, Malcolm McLaren, ESG, and LCD Soundsystem and even Bob Dylan.. Although touching on classic references Andy Clockwise is unabashedly original, with a sound and vision years in the making and a message all his own. This is an artist at that moment in his career that people talk about in the annals of Rock & Roll & Indie folklore. Somehow Clockwise again manages to be innovative whilst at the same time rooting himself in emotional nostalgia, and that’s just the sound of the music.

Andy has earned a cult-like status for his charismatic and verbose live shows, and has a touring history with the Warpaint, Numerous festivals & Julian Casablancas (The Strokes) + Many More.

He writes, records, performs all instruments,  engineers, produces everything on his music as well as all upcoming releases in a basement in Beachwood Canyon, CA & Sydney, Australia, Boulevard Recording (Pink Floyd/Fleetwood Mac) in LA, as well as during stints in London , it features work by Omar Yakar (War On Drugs), Drew Erickson (Tim Heidecker, Roger Waters), JT Thomas (Captain Beefheart), Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint, Kurt Vile), and Jade Macrae.

“If you ever need to impress someone, take them to an Andy Clockwise show. They’ll never forget it!” – Chris Muckley, KCRW.
