DESCRIPTION:Saturday August 12 \n  \n3pm – 6pm \n  \nAnchor & Bear are a three piece folk/rock band from Ventura California. The band consists of Katy Pearson on bass\, guitar\, & vocals; Brian Bringelson on guitar & vocals; & Eric White on drums. With the songwriting team of Pearson & Bringelson\, Anchor & Bear recorded their debut album Ahoy in a 16 track analog recording studio over the course of a year. In between recording sessions the band played many high profiled shows around the Los Angeles & Ventura counties. Some of the venues Anchor & Bear have played include: Hotel Cafe (LA)\, The Watermark (Ventura)\, Sofar Sounds (SF)\, Discovery (Ventura)\, Whiskey Richards (Santa Barbara)\, San Fransisco Coffee Fest (SF). Anchor & Bear’s music is full of melodic hooks and indie rock twists sure to get the feet of young and old audiences alike tapping along.
