Once together, we each bring our collective experiences, tastes and skills and we find a way to bring it together in music. Friendships are formed, bonds are forged, new understanding takes root. Although we perform, it’s not about that. For some, the weekly gathering is an oasis in the middle of an otherwise difficult week. For others it’s a time and place to hang. For most it’s a chance to practice. For all, it’s an experience of a lifetime, one that will be remembered always and hopefully shared.

MoonPie plays gigs at a variety of local venues and events, including wineries, private parties, coffeehouses, Cal Poly, Kennedy Club Fitness, festivals, and fundraisers. Recent gigs include SLO Farmer’s Market, the Paul Wolff Accessibility Advocacy Awards at the Clark Center, Guiseppe’s Italian Restaurant in Pismo, the Pismo Beach Clam Festival, and July 4th at the Pismo Pier.
