Prussia is a modern funk group with influences ranging from early rhythm and blues to current popular music. The members of Prussia came from different parts of the world with a common goal of studying contemporary music. It was at Musicians Institute in Hollywood where they met and formed the band. Diversity is key to the band’s dynamic, which is evident in their style; a blend of funk, jazz, rock and blues. The band has won 2 Down Beat Student Awards (2016/2017) for Outstanding Performance in the Pop/Rock/Blues category.
